Stoke clearly
should be the capital of Stoke-on-Trent,
not only does the River Trent flow
through it but it is also the home ground of Stoke City football Club known locally as The Potters.
I feel a bit sorry for Stoke; it was never invested in the same way Hanley was and it sort of made it a very poor Newcastle.
