The third longest river in the UK
begins its 185 mile journey from Biddulph
Moor in Staffordshire to the Humber estuary in Lincolnshire. The River Severn is the longest followed by the River Thames. If you want to be
confused just follow up on places along this river. I thought Stoke was at a loss until I read up on
the Humber. The Humber isn’t even a river I’m sure the councils were drinking the Trent water when naming towns and
cities along its stretch. The Humber
Bridge is very impressive though, it was the longest bridge of its type in
the world from 1981 when it first
opened (on the 24th of June that year)
and was not surpassed until (17 years
later ) in 1998 …
The seventh and eighth image is where Lyme brook joins the River Trent, not exactly the clear merging image I had imagined...
